I am honoured to be able to feature Kevin Booth the Director of AMERICAN DRUG WAR 2: Cannabis Destiny
Excerpt from Kevin Booth the Director’s Press Release
” On June 6, “AMERICAN DRUG WAR 2: Cannabis Destiny” will premiere in theaters, and YOU have the opportunity to attend a special screening of the film on its release date! From director Kevin Booth comes a riveting follow up to Showtime’s 2008 “American Drug War: The Last White Hope.” In ADW 2: Cannabis Destiny, we meet the Hyde family. After surviving brain surgery, Proton Radiation and high dose Chemotherapy a 2-year-old boy named Cashy Hyde lay in a coma not eating for over 40 days. His parents are told by the doctors to make funeral arrangements, however Cashy’s father Mike Hyde had been reading on the Internet about a new version of an ancient medicine derived from Cannabis. Unbeknownst to the hospital staff the Hyde’s start secretly injecting the illegal drug into their dying son’s feeding tube and soon a “miracle” takes place. When the hospital staff learns that it is Cannabis they want nothing to do with it.
Also – husband and wife filmmakers Kevin and Trae Booth become foster parents in Los Angeles only to discover that they must administer powerful psych meds to their new 11 year old foster daughter or face having her removed.

My goals in doing this interview…
- To raise awareness for “AMERICAN DRUG WAR 2: Cannabis Destiny” which will premiere in theaters on June 6.
The theatrical distribution of ADW2 is being handled by a new company out of Austin TX called TUGG.com using a new concept known as “Theaters on Demand”
To ensure each event happens, each theater must pre-sell approximately 50+ tickets to cover the cost of the theater rental. The producers are confident you will pre-buy your tickets ASAP – before May 30th so that the threshold is met. (Tickets are on average $10)
[In the event the threshold is not met your credit card will not be charged.]
Head members of several anti drug war groups working to end the criminal prosecution of marijuana have already come on board to support the film and hope you will attend as there is strength in numbers.
The film starts a major Video on Demand run right after June 6th. The better the film does at these small screenings, the more resources will be put towards promoting it to millions of cable subscribers through Gravitas aided by Warner Brothers. This premier is a new model of distribution that works as a force multiplier to put the message of legalization into millions of homes around the globe.
